| The nearby farmhouse at Wintonhill has been recently renovated to a high standard to provide overnight holiday accommodation and business accommodation to complement the main house.
The Great Hall of yester-year was the public room where the Laird would administer justice. It is hardly a conference venue but, was intended nevertheless to hold a large gathering.
Now the Big Dining room and the Drawing Room can seat sizeable audiences, up to 120 theatre style using the Cabinet Room and Library for group sessions. |

Winton House has a history of almost 1000 years involving Robert the Bruce, Mary Queen of Scots, the poet King James VI and Bonnie Prince Charlie; it is a building that blends castle, palace and family home.
The house has catered for a wedding of 400 guests, yet even the smallest number would not be out of place in such intimate surroundings.
Whilst 72 can be seated for a wedding breakfast in the dining room, for numbers over this, and especially if dancing is involved, we can arrange for the use of a marquee on the flat lawn beside the house. |
