Venue |
Recent refurbishment has increased
the number of meeting rooms from 6 to 7 with
the addition of the brand new English Room. We've
also refurbished the existing meeting rooms and
introduced new conference furniture.
The Academy & MacLaren
Suites
The main conference and banqueting rooms have
beautiful vaulted, beamed ceilings and splendid
chandeliers. They are a popular choice for weddings,
receptions and conferences. Each suite can accommodate
up to 100 guests either in theatre style or reception,
and have dance floors and natural lighting.
The Latin, Geography, History and Art
Rooms
Since the hotel is a listed building,
many of the meeting rooms have original features
from the former school days including the original
wood panelling and windows. Benefiting from high
ceilings and natural lighting, these rooms offer
a unique setting for meetings and events.

Hotel's conference and banqueting facilities
are accommodated in six suites. Two of which
(The MacLaren and Academy) seat up to 100 guests
theatre style. The Latin and English room can
seat 60-theatre style and the History and Geography

The building was completed as the
high school of Stirling in 1864 and was converted
into a hotel over a decade ago. This is a Grade

to retain the high beamed ceilings found in the

The hotel has kept the school theme throughout
its meeting rooms naming them all after scholastic
themes.
The majority of our conference rooms are air-conditioned

with ISDN lines. The rooms can be adapted easily
to suit any other style required by the conference
organiser and are versatile in their uses for
large and/or small weddings, conferences, meetings,
seminars, interviews, reception and dinners. |
