Orocco Pier is only 2 years old but is housed in a building with over 400 years of history in the hospitality business so it is truly a combination of “ something old something new “ Every couple is different and we move heaven and earth to make sure that the little touches which make the big day special are in place.

Our shore location has seen wedding arrivals by catamaran, fireworks and the ancient cobbled streets of South Queensferry welcome pipers and horse drawn carriages just as well as the limousines which carry our brides to their celebration. Orocco Pier was one of the first locations in South Queensferry to seek a licence to perform civil ceremonies and the only one with Her Majesty's Crown Estate approval to carry out marriage ceremonies on the beach foreshore.

We have continued to innovate and be inclusive having welcomed weddings from Europe and Australia as well as many closer to home in Scotland. We also welcome applications for Civil Partnership Ceremonies and Registrations.

Our desire to ensure that everything is perfect includes consultation on décor, recorded music before, during and after your ceremony arranging floral themes and working with trusted suppliers all designed to make sure you can just concentrate on enjoying yourselves.
